okay, my check engine light dont come on but I figure I run the codes on my 91' 740 cuz its been a while since I showed her sum actual attention, well, since Ive had the car the oil light has been on, always wanted to check that out but when I first bought this car it had a million problems, fixed them all, even bought another 740 for just in case parts....only thing different is that my 91' is rex regina n the 89 is a bosch... anyhow...I got these codes today...in the #2 socket....1-2-3.....in the #6 socket...1-4-3 and 2-2-4....I looked at matts site n found the dtc chart...it said that my knock sensor is missing or faulty and that my engine temp. sensor is missing or faulty.. okay... the other 740 has all this... so I could get it off of that one, now, my main question is... the oil pump....I have everything ouit of the other car, the only thing left in the 89 is the block, I took off the front plate that holds the cam type arm pulled the arm out but it only came out like 6 inches n gets caught on sumthing, can sumbody poin t me to the proper way to take out the oil pump plz.. thank you...
