Default specs on volvo turbos.

i've been searching for a while trying to find more info about the specs of t3's off of late 80's early 90's volvo's (mainly 240's and 740's) and haven't had any luck. i'm really looking for a/r's, trim, etc. of the different models and years. any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest calling a turbo shop in your area. If you can't find one (ask around at a truck stop, turbos are popular on 18-wheelers) here are two you might ask:

Turbo Engineering in Golden, CO www.TurboEngineering.com
or
Turbonetics in Simi Valley, CA www.TurboneticsInc.com

The Garret T3 was widely used. If you are looking for a replacement, they would know of sources. If you are looking to rebuild one you already have for more power, many mods are well-documented.

Make sure you specify your needs...for example changing the trim might make more top-end power but could increase lag...not the best situation for a street car.

If you are seaching for more power remember that other mods (eg, hi flow fuel injectors) may have to be done to realize the full potential.
