93 240 Wagon: The speedo works fine. The odo gears seem fine, with new replacement installed even tho the old one looked OK. The odo works SOME of the time. When it quits if I beat the dash it may come back for a time then quit again. If I take the cluster loose, remove the "L" clip from the speedo connection, clean it, WD-40 it and slide it back on, it works a bit then quits. I have even 'wedged' the clip in with a small piece of cardboard. I have looked as closely as I can at that clip and it looks OK. Electric check with meter shows juice and continuity. It does not look friendly enough to remove those wires and reinstall them, but if I had another clip I could replace it. Anybody got any suggestions?
