Default Stalling

Hey everyone! I'm new here, and don't know much about Volvo's, but I figured somebody reading this could answer my questions and queries. My dad picked up an '86 240 DL with the 2.3L I4 Non-turbo engine. It's in good condition, except for the fact that it likes to stall when accelerating from a dead stop. I looked under the dash and found a round shaped relay that has 13 different wires coming out of it. At closer inspection, I noticed there was a light blue/yellow striped wire that was clipped and another that was clipped, stripped, then twisted back together for some reason. I don't have a repair manual nor a wiring diagram right now unfortunately, so I was hoping someone reading this could help me. The spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, maf, fuel pump, fuel filter, and related relays have all been replaced, and it still stalls. O, and for some reason the turn signal relay gets hot. Why is that?

Default RE: Stalling

Clean the throttle body and idle motor.

The round relay should be the bulb failure relay.

You mean the outside turn signal light gets hot?

The parking lights set to always on?
