Default starting problem

Only have had my 740 for three or for days. Today I went to bring trash to the end of the road. Battery was to low to crank b/c I left dome light on. Put charger on it and it cranked over quick. Let it run for awhile to charge it. 3 hours later it cranked but not strong and it started. No amp draw lights or anything else on way into work. Shut car off. Just to check how the battery was doing I went to start it and nothing. Think I heard selenoid click and battery and fans seemed to be running 100%. Any ideas.

sounds like its time to do some basic electrical checks. measure the battery voltage with a digital multimeter... if you get the car running again, measure the voltage with the engine running, it should be about 1-1.5 volts more than when the car is sitting there, that indicates the alternator is working and charging the battery.

Looks like a false alarm. On the drive over I had a lot of things running including the blower for the heater. After a jump and a fine ride home the battery was fully charged. As long as it holds the charge everything is good. Volt meter checks everything out
