Stuck coil wire??
Hi all,
In preparation for a long trip, I replaced the spark plug wires in my son's fine '83 245 stick wagon. The wires came from a local supplier, Belden brand, quite pricey, but nice quality. I was impressed by the nice solid connection at the coil (unlike my '90 245, which has a loose, sloppy connection at the coil.
The car runs great, but after 2 weeks, I noticed that the coil wire feels like it's stuck/welded to the coil. It won't come loose, and I'm afraid to **** on it too much for fear of breaking something.
Should I let this sleeping dog lie, or is it a warning sign of an impending problem?
