Default sway bar bushings

Getting ready to change out the stock sway bar end link bushings on my 90 740 with polys from IPD; anyone got any tips/pointers/ohmygods to watch for before I start?
Thanks!

It is very easy unless one of the bolts break.

Other than that it is cake.

Thanks- just heard a horror story from another brickster about breaking 3 of the last 4 bolts he tried to remove- granted, he lived in a cold area, but I sure would not want to find out how solid mines are; I think I'll play safe and just replace them also.

You will be better off that way.

In the 6 years I have been working on Volvo's here in Fla. I think I have had 4 break on me while trying to loosen them.

Ordered a set of end links from FCP Groton the other day- thanks! Are there any special installation procedures such as supporting the suspension in certain places, or removing parts in a particular sequence that I need to be aware of, or just hunker down and go for it?

Nothing really special. You might have to hold the rod with a pair of Vise Grips to stop it from spinning.

Then loosen the nuts and remove.
