Default a/t linkage bushings

Well I am getting around to putting those bushings that came with the car. I don't have a book right now and I can't seem to find it online. Can someone tell me how to replace those little bushings? Do I go in from inside the car?

there's 2 different types of bushings, there's the ones that the shifter lever pivots on, these are inside the 'can' that the shifter is mounted in, but you pretty much have to take the whole can out which requires going under the car and disconnecting the linkage, then there's the bushings on the various linkage rods, these are under the car along side the transmission
