DISCONNECT BATTERY, lift up carpet in trunk, undo screw(s) to cover plate. The bung removal tool is available from ipdusa.com or you can carefully loosen the bung nut with a punch and tap it the way it loosens (I think counterclockwise) be CAREFUL when you are moving the assembly about in trying to remove it from the tank it is possible to break off the inner wires and then you have to buy new sending unit (105$) fpcgroton.com ask me how I know. I made a bung tool by welding a couple pieces of steel to an old socket. If you choose to do this do not weld within 1 mile of your gas tank or you will be 'hoist by your own petard' and killed. Getting the intank prepump out of the tank is not really fun. I do not like working around fire starter. Put your careful hat on.
