tranny conversion to auto
Hey,
Talkin about an 1987 740 Turbo wagon with intercooler.
I have a bad tranny 5 spd overdrive with lots of metal flakes in it. It won't shift gears and the fill plug threads are stripped. Bummer! Anyway an auto would be better for me and my family.
Anyone with experience in what a hassle the conversion would be?
