Tranny trouble

Default Tranny trouble
Can someone tell me if tailshaft (without housing and output shaft) , should have play in it haven't received any information as of yet. Need help thanks

On a 740 without the tail housing you will have some play in the output shaft. When you replace the bushing/bearing in the end of the tail shaft housing this will be eliminated.

Thanks for the info .I wasn't sure if this site was still active. Didn't want to put it back together without being sure.
