Hi all,
on our '93 940, we;ve got the automatic AW71L transmission. car is at 220,000mi, as far as I know the transmission is original.
It has been slipping when it is cold, before the car is warmed up. I just had the transmission fluid flushed and stop slip addative put in and it's a minor improvement, but not perfect yet...on cold mornings the trans will get stuck in 1st or 2nd, until it finally catches and gets into proper gear...

Question is- other than fluid flush, stop-slip, etc what else can be done to solve this problem until the day the tranny finally quits?
