Does anybody know if you can hookup a high performance alternator to a non-turbo 740? i want to put a big sound system in the car, 2000+ watts (125+ amps). can i upgrade to like a 150 or 200 amp alternator? would a one wire setup from summit work? Thanks again for the help...

if u check out turbobricks.com there's an article on that subject. I believe the volvo alt run at like 70amps and u can get one off a GM car thats around 140 im going to be running 4000w+ and im using that and works fine from what i hear.
