Default is the upper strut donut critical? '94 940

I'm driving 1000 miles this weekend (on I-95). The ride is great but the drivers side suspension started clunking at low speed on hard turns. Nothing seems amiss but the drivers side strut upper rubber donut bushing is falling apart. it's NASCAR this weekend in Darlington so NOBODY in the area is opened.

With 115,000 miles it's time for new inserts anyway when I get home Monday, any reason to worry in the meantime?
