Default Vacuum advance nipple.

The little nipple on the intake manifold onto which the vacuum advance hose fits broke off. The car seems to be alright without it. Can any of you think of a way to fix it?

How about buying a new one? Try a universal one from any parts store... can't be too much.

I am curious, why is the car running OK without it, I would think the car would accelerate terribly, not to mention the vacuum leak in the manifold.?

Works fine without it. In fact, it's actually hard to tell the difference, but I know my highway fuel economy will be a little worse. The B20 models have mechanical advance as well as vacuum advance. I have several other vacuum leaks and they don't seem to affect my performance either, it's kind of hard to get a B20 down. It just always wants to be awesome.
