Default vibrations

Just finished working on my friend's 1990 740,not very familiar with car.Inital problems were:vibrations, brakes sized up,installed all 4 new calipers, rotors, pads, hoses, front steel lines.Vibrations are still there when slowing down or geting going and when aplying brakes,is this maybe issue with driveshaft balance or bearing. No vibratin when cruising.
Also after replacing front left brake lines a metal rectangular piece(don't know name for it) started leaking .That piece has 2 lines for front left brakes on one side and both rear lines go in it from other side.
At first it seamed that leak was from one of new front lines,so i replaced that line with new one(twice). Is this comon problem with Volvo and if anyone know if that metal piece is dealer only item.
Any help is greatly apreciated.
