Question Volvo 240 wagon "service plate" location?

So there's supposed to be a little plate or decal stating what type brakes, tie rods, etc. go on that particular vehicle. For the life of me I can't find it. The car is a 1991 240 wagon (Canada). The owner's manual shows where it is on the trunk of the sedan, but no hints at where it is on the wagons.

Any ideas folks?

Allegedly on the sheet metal between the radiator and the grill. Can be plate or sticker. 3 is ZF; 2,4,5 is CAM.

"Allegedly," I like that. Nothing there but a sticker with AC info and a plate with a serial number. Could be it fell off during the misadventures of the previous owner.

I don't suppose this is it? This was on the passenger side by the strut mount. There's also a sticker about tire pressure on the passenger side door.

thats the main serial plate. VOLVO Parts and Accessoires. VOLVO Parts for VOLVO repair and VOLVO Performance upgrade! www.VLVworld.com sells New and Used VOLVO parts for 240, 850, 740, 760, 940, S70, V70, S40, V40, S80, 140, 122, 164 and More allegedly decodes it.

there's also a plate on the back right side side, under the carpet, under the floor on a wagon, THAT one has the brakes, and stuff. on a sedan, its near the right trunk hinge, click on the 2nd image on the above page for the decoder ring.

Whelp, the ZF dust boots have a rubber ring they fit to on the outside edge; the CAM boots fit directly to the rod. As for brakes, to the best of my knowkedge they are Girling front and ATE rear. The girling front will have bent wire retaing springs, the ATE rear will have a cross shaped flat metal spring. If the rear were Girling, it would have a large square flat metal retaining spring.

except our 87 240 had the small end rubber boots and the ZF style rod ends, go figger. I replaced them with the ZF boots so noone would be confused in the future :-p
