I have a 1982 Volvo 244 and I’m needing to replace the in-line fuel pump and filter. I have found the fuel pump and filter but I’m a little confused on what’s attached to the fuel pump. What part is attached to the fuel pump and do I need to replace it as well? Also want to make sure, but for this car the fuel filter is up by the windshield under the hood correct?

 

Looks like it is called the fuel accumulator.

I was just pulling up the parts on rockauto! They seems to be cheaper than the parts I was looking at.

 

just be careful what brand parts you're getting. a lot of whats on rockauto is the cheapest of the cheap asian knockoff products by the likes of Uro.
