Default Volvo 740 no air out top vents

I have a 1992 Volvo 740 wagon I have recently replaced the blower motor and the blower motor resistor the fan comes on now and I have charged the a/c but majority of the air is coming out of the floor vents and the defrost vents no matter what setting it is on. I have also realised that I have no heat either. I was thinking that there could he some dampners that are restricting the flow of air because they are stuck. Is this possible? If so where are they located. Also what could be causing there to be no heat? Maybe the heater core if so where is that at? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

the blend doors are controlled by vacumm, The heater door is mechanical. at least on an 89. The majority of the vacumm diaphrams can be found on the center console on the driver side. You'll need to remove the facade under the steering wheel to see these. the heater mechanism will be access by way of the radio. Also you could try back flushing the heater core by way of the hoses on the firewall. The interior/exterior door is infront of the blower motor. You'll need to remove the glove box to see this part.
