Default Wagner ceramic pads

I just install a set of Wagner ceramic pads on my 89 740. I'll let you know how they are with the brake dust issue. These are on Girling calipers. Interesting thing was they were on a rebate deal until the end of the month. $34 for the set and getting a $15 rebate. I'll give an up date on the brake dust issue in a month or two.

Yes, please do! I would suspect you drive in the city often then?

I went out yesterday and got a set of rears also. Installed them today and sent out the rebate for them. So the net was $55 for fronts and rears with a $30 rebate. Can't beat the price so we'll see how they perform. It's my wife's ride so we'll see how she likes it. 317K on the clock.

Just a quick update. No issues with these pads. They are quiet and to my surprise almost dust free. It took me quite a while to clean up my aluminum wheels from the OEM brake dust. So far so good and no performance issues. I'm watching the dust issue and hopefully it will stay pretty clean.

Default Looks great

OK , we have about 1200 miles of city driving on these pads and so far very little dust and it is not black dust. You can hardly see the dust and the aluminum wheels are still bright.

Well, I'm about 90% sold. Love the idea of less brake dust; my only concern is about excessive wear to the rotors. Anyone had experience with that issue, good or bad?

I'll keep an eye on it but it shouldn't be any different then OEM. Also with rotors only costing $25-$30 each it's no big deal.
