Default What to check BEFORE doing blower motor...240 series

So long story short, the blower motor doesn't work in my recently purchased 240. I haven't done a blower motor yet, and I'm not scared too, just not looking forward to the wasted Saturday. Is there anything else to check before assuming that the blower motor is bad? I have checked the fuses, and they are fine. If it helps any, ac compressor doesn't not kick on either.

Best recommendation is to make sure you are getting power to the switch and past it to the motor itself. Open up the center console and test the power at the switch with a volt meter. If you have power there, then other than a break in the wires between the switch and the resistor pack & motor, I can't think of anything else that can go wrong other than the motor itself. Generally, with cars of this age, the motor is probably shot.

I know I have been avoiding doing mine but it will have to be done before this winter.
