Hey guys...My 240 seems to be running a tad hot (after bypassing the temp compensation board, needle is at the 9:30-10:00 position). I'm thinking of doing a flush and replacing the thermostat. Just was wonder what coolant you are using. Was thinking of using Prestone Extended Life 50/50 Prediluted which I used on my 850.

 

save yourself some $$$ and get the full strength a/f... it may be a few dollars more, but after you dilute it to 50/50 mixture, you end up with twice as much as you would have by saving those few dollars it's the same stuff, they're just charging you for having it mixed already!

me? I bought the store brand antifreeze... same as I use in my project car, and all the other beaters before

 

Also, read the ingredients on the back of the jug and make sure whatever you buy doesn't include "silicates." All that glass will eat an aluminum water pump.
