I have a '89 740GL wagon with bendix brakes (262mm rotors) and ABS (all though if need be, I'd be ok with out it)


Need to replace bearings and I'm thinking the spindle too.

Are all the Volvos of that era the same size???? Are ABS and non-ABS the same size, if so I could just hit the junk yard.

I have a guy here in town parting out a 240. Will the spindle and hub assembly from that work on my car???
