Default wheel bearing question...

I wanted to do front wheel bearings on my 1985 740 but I wanted know what I am getting myself into. Are the outer bearing races pressed in? Does anyone know of a good write up how to do it? Are mine compatible with other 740s 940s 760s 960s etc... I searched everywhere but no luck. Thanks in advance!

I found that but are wheel bearing hubs on 740s and 240s the same?

damn similar. there's some differences in the front suspension, 740/940 have a two piece lower control arm (an arm, and a seperate radius rod) while 240 has just a single arm, but otherwise the front suspension and stuff are virtually identical (although not interchangable). Ditto in the back, there's some differences in the thrust arms, and trailing arms but the rear axles are nearly the same. the 740/940's have upgraded front brakes over the 240's, with several different caliber types depending on the year and usually larger rotors, especially in the later years.
