I found a set of fondmetal rims on craigslist locally and i know the bolt pattern will fit, but am more concerned oabout the offset.

Thanks!

you'll need 20 or 25mm spacers, or the wheels will sit too far inboard.

also, 740's don't ride that great on wide low profile tires, they do better on 15" with /60 series tires, or at most 16" with /55

those are a little wide for a 740, the biggest rims Volvo put on that car were 16x6.5, the Hydras I have on mine...

these fit a 205/55-16 91H tire. That will *probably* fit a 7", check the tire spec for supported rim widths.

yeah, I dunno that brand, but $200 for 4 new wheels is pretty cheap. spacers *are* a pain,

shouldn't be too hard to find some 15 or 16" volvo RWD rims, there's tons of Volvos in the PNW.

any of the 15 or 16" on this page will fit
Volvo 200/700/900 Alloy Wheels
most of the 14's will fit, IF you don't have ABS, but I bet a 1987 turbo does have ABS (the ABS equipped 740s have bigger front brake rotors).

I really like dracos. I think they look really great on the 700 series cars. That is if you can get the center caps... Not so good if you don't have 'em.

i was able to get NEW center caps for my hydras from Volvo via tascaparts a couple years ago. the original ones were pretty beat up and faded, and several clips were broken
