Default Will Xc70 rims fit on my 1987 240?

Howdy guys, I'm new here,
My name is Peter and I recently purchased a 1987 Volvo 240dl and it has winter tires so I'm looking for summer wheels and tires. I'm wondering if wheels off an xc70 would fit on my 240! Thanks a bunch!
Cheers!

not well. the FWD cars (and the RWD updated 960/S90/V90) have a different offset so if you mount those wheels on a RWD car, they will be too far inboard, unless you use wheel spacers, which are a pain each time you remove a wheel. the difference is about 20mm, nearly an inch.

you CAN use rims for 700/900 cars (except the above mentioned post-facelift 960s)

I wouldn't go over 15" rims on a 240, either, the ride will suffer.
