Question Wire Harness - boots for main undercar Fuel Pump

Hello everybody:
I know this topic has been covered before, suggesting universal bullet connectors, but that does not seem to work. I have cut main pump connectors on my 1993 240 which don't seem to have enough wire for good running of the fuel system.
Looking to buy the boots with at least an inch of wire connected still unlike the approx. 6 mm mine have.

good luck finding these short of going to a pick and pull and cutting some off a parts-mobile.

I thought the main fuel pump used ring connectors under a nut, you can get these at most any hardware or auto parts store... (I could be mixing up my vehicles here, if they are push-on, never mind).

Why not just splice some longer wire in ? I'd suggest soldering and shrinkwrap because the underside of the car is a fairly filthy and wet place. in fact, I like to solder, then cover in 'liquid electric tape' AND shrinkwrap over the liquid goo before it dries, this makes a hermetic seal

Thank you for the info. They are not nut and screw connections, those are what were on the aftermarket pump which I removed. I supposed I could remove the wire out of the snap on connectors and solder in place?
