The vehicle is a 1977 244DL, B21E injection engine


The car was driving beautifully at first, never missed a beat then as it got warmer it slowly started losing power, now it's got to the point where it won't go above 2000rpm, I put it in neutral then I used just a bit of throttle it went to 2500rpm, then if I try to increase it just goes back to 2000rpm

I left it for a while then tried again, same thing

It starts and idles excellent

There has got to be at least someone in the world who has had the same problem

 

try to get a fuel pressure reading while driving had one that had a in tank screen sucking flat i guess due to age, the csi cars need the right amount of pressure to run right
