Default $150.00 960

Just bought this 93 960 for $150.

The guy gave up at getting the cams back after doing the head gasket! Car has got some mold or mildew on the leather, after the back window got broken by a tree limb 3 months back. Happy maybe, optimistic yes!!!!

Damn, not bad. Pretty much same thing I am doing with my wagon. Now if only it was turbo.

Very nice though. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Mostly worried about the mold or mildew on the leather. Wife just shakes her head and says "you get what you pay for". I like gilber wish it was a turbo, but I think I will sell it if everything goes well.

Yeah, either that or just fix it up and have it be a nice DD. Once I move to where ever I go for graduate school, if I don't have my 854 anymore, I would like to get a 87-89 240 wagon for a DD.

Tons of those around here, but, the be one with the earth crowd, keep the price's high. Only good thing is around here no rust on the bodies, if the car is not a trans plant.

There's some pretty decent ones here. Scoped several out on CL, all right around 700-1500, not too bad I don't think.

Cool looks pretty good. If I were to get a 960 it would be one like that. I like the 740 front end under the car. I do not like the newer 960 suspension.

Tech what about the lifters? I just noticed that they are in the head. Should I get them out and in oil? It will be awhile before i can get to work on it.

Yes I would pull them and drop them in oil and leave them there till you are ready to put it together.
