Default 1990 Volvo 760 - Engine swap or rebuild question

I have a 1990 - 760 with a 4cyl turbo that has 200k miles on it. I am fully restoring the car with the goal of making it look and run like it came off the showroom floor. The engine it has runs well but its showing its age like loss of perfomance, smoothness, gas milage. The rest of the car is in great shape with the interior like brand new and the exterior only needs a paint job. I recently put a new alternator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, belts, struts, tires.

Am I better off buying a remanufactured engine or having this one rebuilt? I also have seen some S60 & S80 engines for sale with very low milage and was curious if its a major modification and cost to try and install one if those in my 760?

Your suggestions are appreciated and your thoughts on what this generaly costs?

For the stock setup it would be a up to you. Call and get e price on all the parts to rebuild and a price for a rebuilt one.

For the S80 setup it wouldn't be worth it.

If you can find a wrecked S90 or 960 then you might be able to get something done. You will need all the computers and wires from it.
