1995 volvo 960 Oil adapter issue
Hello All,
I was driving my Volvo around a turn and my breaks didn't stop properly. Unfortunately I was going fairly quickly and popped the curb. The oil housing adapter seems bent. But I'm a little clueless to what the part above it is called. I can post pics tomorrow, any ideas what it might be called?

The BigMac looking thing below the Oil Filter, with two coolant hoses running to it? Yep -- that's the cooler. You might be lucky that your crank pulley is not bent and the timing belt didn't jump.. Or did it?
Did the airbags deploy?

Air bags didn't deploy. Cracked my passenger fog light and blew the strut. Ruined my alignment too. I already ordered the struts and outer tie rods. Hopefully the arm isn't bent we'll find out I guess. Ripped out the skid plate by my transmission. Did a lot more damage then I was expecting for sure. At first the car seemed like it wasn't shifting right but once I ran it for a while it seems to be better. Running 20-50 oil to compensate for now.
Running without a cooler for a short-while is not the end. There is plenty of oil on that crankcase. I wouldn't however be too keen on running this heavy oil. Where do you live?
I live in Orlando,Florida, but seems the tranny is done the plates were welded together. Now I have no reverse and I can drive in neutral. Going to run down to the junk yard pick a tranny up for $100. I'm have tempted to Junk it.
