Gas guage is intermittent. Stays on empty most of the time even though there is gas in the vehicle. What does it take to resolve this?

mine is the same, I did a google search and found a description of pulling out the instrument cluster, then re-sodering the contacts. I nolonger have the link, just google. regards, colin

Not familiar with the problem in the 960 but the sending unit in the tank is a little bit of a pain to get to if it's like the 700 series car. I can check mine if you need me to. Just let me know. You may also want to post this in the 960 section.
