Question 1996 960 Lights issue

I have a 1996 960. A couple weeks ago after I had been home for awhile I noticed the right turn signal was on (constant, not blinking), even though the car was off and parked and keys out of ignition. Checked fuses and nothing, had to unhook battery to turn light off. At that time the hazards would not work and the right turn signal would not blink but would only stay on constantly. The headlights worked at that time. I took the steering column collar off and put it back on and the turn signal light turned off and everything worked fine... for about an hour. Now the right turn signal works, the hazards work but the headlights wont stay on. If you pull on the high beam/turn signal switch/lever they will turn on and change from high to low but as soon as you release the pressure from the switch they turn off again. I have checked all the bulbs in the car and replaced any that even kinda looked bad (some had the metal connectors squashed down). All bulbs are the correct size and model for that car and all are in perfect shape. Since then I have tried a different blinker lever/switch, hazard switch, and main headlight relay (the one under the dash near the steering column on the left side.) Today I ordered and new/used main headlight switch and dimming wheel and will try those when they come, but Im starting to doubt they are the problem.... I have not yet seen any connectors with any sort of corrosion in them.

Anyone have any ideas?
