I need to replace my front struts. Does anyone have any ideas as to the folowing:

1. Are there inserts or do I have to have the whole assembly replaced?
2. Is there a certian brand that I should use over another?
3. Where is a good place for parts online that's affordable?

Any help is greatly appriciated?

 

I think it is an entire assembly.

Check in the General section I made a post with "Links to sites" You should be able to find plenty of parts there.
