i was throwing a P0115 error code and car would not cold start unless my cars key was in the on position for around 15 minutes then it would start. now i got a new ecu that fixed the problem for a few days now my car throws the code P0117 code for a engine coolant curcuit low input.... any ideas of what that could be... when i start my car it has trouble with the throttle when i put the gas on while its cold but once it warms up it does fine.... my temperature guage also jumps around from sometype of electric spike.... any input would help,,,,

 

Bad coolant temp sensor or thermostat. I would replace both.

 

i had replaced that before when it was throwing the P0115 code and it did not change the situation... and i just put in a new thermostat a few months ago... could it still be the sensor if i have tried it before.... my code says it is a coolant circuit low input problem....

 

Check and see if you have a second coolant temp sensor in the back of the head.
Some of the cars have 2 sensors on in the thermostat housing and the other in the back of the head.

 

no there is only one underneath the thermostat on my car... the mechanics have thought there was a second one also... but they realized my car only has one...

 

Then maybe there is a wiring problem to the coolant temp sensor.
The P0117 is also a coolant temp sensor code signal to low

 

do you have any idea how i would go about checking the wires to the coolant temp sensor.... where should i start checking and where would be some likely things...

 

That is not a common problem all I can do is give you this like to get a wiring diagram to go from there.
