Default 760 turbo 1987 wont start in winter

when winter came, the car won't start unless I boost it in the mechanic shop.
cranks but don't start, but after jumpstart it in the store, cranks fast, but if I leave it several hours in the cold, it will crank slow and won't start.
Should I buy a new battery?, or a booster plugged in the lighter ( black&Decker)?.
If I would replace three items from the junk yard, what those items should be?
fuel pressure regulater, Thermo time switch, throttle switch, cold start valve,
or check inline fuses?
I bought the car cheap and don't like to spend money on hours of diagnosis and expensive new replacement parts

Have the battery load tested.
