I was in the process of repairing my moonroof, it will lift, but not slide to the rear of the car and open. From reading in forums, that the culprit could be the selector gates. Sure enough they were broken, pieces of plastic were found and I could both Left and right sides needed replacing. I went to the Volvo dealership and asked the price, $184.87 each! I was reassured that included cables. Does anyone know another source for these?
If not I guess, I know what will be in my letter to Santa!

 

You don't need to replace the cable only the metal brackets.
