I explained my dilemma in "New Members" but I am still looking for some advice.
I have 264GL V6 that looks like 5 years old and 265GLE 1980 which is not registered, rusty but has excellent 2.9V6 engine which was given full overhaul only couple years ago. This engine is much more powerful, more dynamic and quieter than 264GL (which is in great shape too). I am interested to fit 2.9V6 1980 engine (and automatic transmission) into my beautiful 264GL...can anybody tell me if that us easy, relativey strightfoward operation or some tricky nightmare ??? I would prwefer to know before I start...
