Default Engine Oil getting into Coolant system

1998 V70 Turbo, engine oil is getting into the coolant system, to the extent that coolant expansion tank is overflowing. I don't see a thread on this one. Any knowledgeable person been thru this before, to know cause?

Are you sure it is oil and not trans fluid?

Does your transmission fluid look creamy? I had radiator blowout and wound up with trans fluid in coolant and water in the trans. Not a good time at the old shop with that one.
