Hi - I was hoping to find someone who has installed the headlight on a 1989 Volvo 760. I have installed the two threaded balljoints and have been able to get them seated in the headlight. However, I can not get the balljointed stud to seat.

If I force it, the plastic will break. Do I just continue to tighten the threaded balljoints, pulling the unit closer to the car until it just "pops" into place?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
