89' 760 turbo new user questions
Hello group
I just got a 760 turbo wagon 89'
Has a few issues; airbag light won't go out (no accidents), check engine light is on but dissapears after 5 minutes, and brake light comes on when pedal depressed. For the brakes, probably worn pads, not sure if these have wear indicator contact. What I would like to fix is airbag trouble. Is the clockspring known to fail on these? How about the engine light, how hard is to read the codes? Any simple way other than finding the reader?
Thanks!

1.It could be the clock spring or soemthing else.Look under the dash way up towards the front and see if you can find a relay with a fue in it. That is the air bag relay see if the fuse is blown.
2.Is it a SERVICE light or CHECK ENGINE LIGHT?
3.Is it the brake light or a funny looking light?(Bulb failure)
