E & W lights/arrow are flashing indicating bad PNP switch. Based on Brickboard "PNP Diagnosis...your PNP is working." I can do this, and I have reset the switch. Still, the trans shifts back to first, but starts flashing again when shifting to second. Is it PNP or what?

 

How is the car driving? Is it dropping into limp home mode? Do you get a CEL?

 

not really "limping" along; it is slower to shift into 2nd, and it will shift into 3 & 4, and back down. The flashing lights have reset 2-3 times, but starts flashing again when driving, and shifting into 2nd. Excuse my ignorance -whats a "CEL"?
