Hello I have a 95 960 with a factory alarm. How can I find a remote?

 

EBay or the Stealer.

 

Thanks for the info RSPI. I thought the remotes were vehicle specific and not universal. I took your advise and went on Ebay. I found an aftermarket company that makes brand new ones. They are smaller and more durable than the OEM. They come with a new battery,programming instructions and a 1yr warranty. And they are only $19.99 each.

 

Have you gotten them and tried them out?

 

Yes I have. Very good quality. I purchased 2 and programmed them both in about 30 secs. They work fine.

Can you share that eBay supplier? I tried several times to get a factory one to work and never got one that did.

 

The supplier is MyKeyless. As I mentioned product works geat. Very inexpensive. I just had a problem with shipping. It took a while to get it. I am assuming this was just an isolated case.

 

Thanks- I found them on eBay, but mine is a 97 with a different remote than the 95. Mine is 2 buttons, up and down- not side by side. We'll see if they have one to work.

 

I don't think the remote style matters. From my understanding the remotes copy the programming from the car's computer.
