I have a 1995 Volvo 960 which came with a lock and unlock remote for the door. After a while, the unit stopped working so I replaced the battery (on both remotes). When this did not work, I just thought I would open a door the old fashion way. Well, its been about 5 years since than (tried 2 more times throughout the years) and I would like to be able to open the door with the remote. I do a lot of audio work so when moving speakers in and out of my car, I have to go lock the door manually everytime. Can you tell me why the remote will not work and what I can do to fix this?

It says batter 2025 on the back which is what I put in there everytime, but no go?

Try stopping by the local dealer and see if they can make sure the remotes are transmitting a signal. If they are they might need to be reprogrammed.
