I've now found the correct obd terminal, I was looking in the box marked B, which is the wrong one. Anyway, the only code showing is "idle valve closing signal", which I think is unlikely to cause the non-starting (which I've tried with no throttle and wide-open throttle.

Anyone have an opinion on this?
