New to fourmI am unable to resolve 1 issue car runs great except after driving almost any distance i shut car off and it will not re start until completley cool any ideas HELP>>>

 

That is usually a bad coolant temp sensor.
Have the codes read or read them yourself if it is a 1995.

 

Thanks For the input Per the codes I have replaced the coolant temp sensor, the idle air control and while I was so close I replaced the t-stat and I am waiting delivery of a new ignition temp sensor after that I hope either that resolves the issue or someone here has some light to shed on the subject also is there somewhere I can find reliable codes for the 95 960????

 

Did you replace the coolant temp sensor in the back of the head?
