I just bought a 96 850 that runs great just that owner stated that it runs rich and said it needs new O2 sensor. But does anyone know when you open the hood and look to the left where there is a black box with the picture of the timing belt if there a hose that goes from there to the fan or not cause mine dont have one, and just curious cause it looks like it should go to fan. If it does what is it called and what is its purpose.

 

Are you talking about black box that houses the computers? If so, then the hose that goes from there to the fan is for cooling them.
