960 AC blower motor
Hi All-
Still fighting with my AC system, and can't seem to get it all resolved. Since I live in Texas, I'm about done with a car that has AC problems..
Anyway, I still can't find any vacuum leaks anywhere, but the main problem is the blower fan. When I accelerate, the fan slows down and essentially stops. It's not a re-direct of air, like I have read about in other threads- it just stops blowing..
Also- even when I'm sitting at idle and the switch is on 5, it feels to me like there isn't a ton of air coming out- I don;t have another volvo for comparison, but my son's chevy truck on high speed is like a hurricane in the cab. My 960 is about half that speed on 5...
So... basically, if I can't get this resolved I'm getting rid of the car. I hate to, but I can't handle weak AC in 100 degree temps.. appreciate the replies to my other AC posts- and any new help is appreciated.
