Hey forgive me im new at al;l this stuff. I have a 960 6 cyl 24 valve. umm it is a 1996 and im wondering if it would be ok to put a turbo in it. I know there is alot more to it but if you could help me out some that would be good. But i really want to get into it and i have the time and money i just need a little guidence. i know putting a turbo in an automatic is dangerious but i would like some defiant answers.

Would it be ok. Yeah if you know what your doing and if you have the time and money and can afford all the down time your going to have. So if you don't have another vehicle you better get one or this project isn't for you. And you already said you have the time and money.

Why is putting a turbo in an automatic dangerous? I have an automatic and it is turbocharged. Came from the factory that way but still.

Sometimes it is in all honesty easier and cheaper to sell an N/A and buy a turbocharged model and mod it from there.
