Lately my car has begun to hesitate a bit, so i followed the directions on troublecode.net. When i connect the plug into the number 2 socket, the LED lights up, and stays on. I cant get it to show me any of the codes. Is the D.B. broken or am i doing something wrong?

You just pushed the button once correct?
Which ports are you trying?

You should be trying A2 and A6.

B port is for other computers.

 

Yeah im only pressing the button once. And using those ports (A2 & A6). I even called a Volvo dealer today and they were pretty much useless, unless i bring the car in for $85 just to look at it.I think it maybe be the MAF sensor, but im sure theres a few other things that can cause my problem. Is there any other way i can diagnose my car? Just kinda stalls and sputters when its cold, or at low RPMs (2300 and less ). Some days its seems to run perfectly fine.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Hard to do without pulling codes.
Maybe take the Diag. box apart and clean the connection.
